Smile
I really love this print! I think vintage cameras are gorgeous and the style of this print is old fashioned and so beautiful.

A little photo session
This evening I had a photo shoot with my fiancé's little newphew (and his parents). They live 7 hours from here by car, so we don't see them so often. I took lots of shots and I haven't really had time to go through them all, but I couldn't keep myself from editing a few.
It's really difficult to shoot kids of this age since they want to move all the time and they get frustrated when they can't do what they want. Some of the shots where unsharp unfortunately, but I think I got some good shots at least. Here are some examples of what i caught.

Gorgeous wedding details
This is about the most pretty table setting and decorations for a wedding that I've ever seen. And if we had a budget that was about $50.000 bigger, I would really like our wedding to look like this!

A walk in the sunshine
After a few days with rain, storm and cold the weather suddenly changed. We took a walk tonnight around the university and luckily I brought my camera. It's so lovely with all the flowers that have popped up everywhere.
We found a clover that was almost as large as Martin's hand.
Marsh marigold grew along the little creek and I risked the whiteness of my new shoes to get a closeup.
A chickweed wintergreen in a bit of backlighting.
I really liked all the crazy colours and patterns in this shot.
Wild flowers in backlighting.
I love looking up at trees and seeing the sky through the branches.
Some more grass and clover in backlighting. It has been a goal of mine to shoot more backlit shots, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. But now with the summer approaching I should get some more shots of that kind.

A Sunday picnic
This weekend the weather was absolutely lovely and me and my honey went on a lovely excursion. We bought some delicious food and went to a place called Brännland, by the river. The landscape was amazing and these hills look just like something out of Sound of music. These hills where just a short passage before we came down to the river where we spent a few hours in the warm sun. A perfect Sunday outing!

More colourful mini violas
Here are two shots from my little photo session on Sunday morning.
Now I've had time to edit the shots, but the problem is that the stationary monitor isn't calibrated. I think it's a bit dark, but then the laptop might be a big too bright. Very complicated business, I shall have to get a calibration device.

Lovely mirrors and blackboards
I just found such a cute thing that I have to share with you. Rowan's Room make mirrors and blackboards out of old doors and the hanging thing is a ribbon tied into a bow at the front. I just adore these and I'm especially in love with the top mirror and the blackboard with the striped ribbon.

Some "in love" photos
We took some shots of ourselves today. It's far too seldom that we take the time to document our life and that's a shame because those shots are so fun to look at later in life, I imagine. Here are two examples:

... and a romantic one.

Summer meadow in backlighting
There is something dreamy and magical with backlit photos. Here is a very romantic example of that.

Mini violas in morning light
Normal people usually sleep as long as they can on a Sunday morning. I, however, belong to the kind that wake up at 6.37 AM even though I didn't go to sleep until midnight. After having tried to fall asleep again for 40 minutes I gave up and got up instead.
Usually I watch episodes of Project Runway or Gilmore Girls while Martin is asleep, but today I had a little photo shoot instead. We have all these flowers on the balcony and due to a massive thunder storm last night they were all inside. I gathered some mini violas and shot them in different ways. Here's a little example, barely edited at all since we don't have PS on the laptop. Now I'm making breakfast and hoping that my darling will wake up soon.

A bird's nest made of moss and twigs
I think this photo is so gorgeous. The moss and the delicate twigs looks so pretty against the rings and the white dress.
